My hats off to LDA. Without the benefits of a huge budget and tons of media hype, they have put out a great game. Does Treadmarks have its faults? Of, course. However, it is absolutely obvious that the four people who work at Longbow Digital Arts designed this game with one thing first and foremost in their mind. They didn't set out to make a game with the greatest graphics or the most mind-blowing sound, even though Treadmarks is great in both of those categories. They set out to make a game that makes you sit down and have a good time, and in that they have succeeded completely. They made a game that is pure fun. And after all, isn't that why you play games in the first place?
